Long Time no post!

Sorry it has been so long.

• We have been having formula issues and so there has been a lot of crying...on Rory's part...no ours. We have it all straightened out now. After a prescription for Zantac and a switch in formula with the addition of a Tbsp of rice cereal...we are good to go....I think!
• I will post some pics later, I haven't gotten them off of my camera.
• Kevin hurt his knee at work so that has been fun. He went for an MRI today. We don't know the results yet.
• Guess who slept 7 hours straight last night?? Yep! Miss Bee. So far this week she has slept 5 hours on Monday night, 5.5 hours on Tuesday night and 7 hours last night. Let's hope this lasts. It is HEAVENLY to have some good solid sleep.

Ok, these 1st two pics aren't the greatest quality, but I like them anyway. Rory was really in to her mobile today. She probably watched it for a good 30 minutes. Apparently a pacie and a mobile and Miss Bee is good to go. Rory got these PJs but they are made of fleece so it hasn't been cold enough to wear them until tonight. I couldn't resist the pink bow. It is hard to see in the picture below, but they feet look like bunny slippers. SO CUTE!!!!! Close up of sweet girl's face. I couldn't resist posting this one, she looks so surprised. I just thought that her expression was cute. Anyway, I hope that everyone is bundled up today and stays warm. See you guys later! Ciao!

1 month old and a cute picture

I am going to get to the 1 month post, but first...you have GOT to see this picture. We met Kev's parents for an early lunch yesterday so that I could get out of house. It was cold so we bundled Rory up....she looks like a little bag lady...she was SO cute in her toboggan and sweater. The sweater was mine when I was a baby. Ok, now on to the 1 month post. Rory is 1 month old today. I can't believe that she has been with us a month already. It is strange, on one hand I can't believe that she has already been here a month and on the other hand, it feels like she has already been with us. She celebrated by smiling at her Daddy....she has since smiled at me, but Daddy got the 1st one. She has already figured out how to get to him, that didn't take long! I apologize in advance for the exposure of this picture...but you can really see her eyes. Right now they are blue, I hope that they stay blue! This is the 2 of us today...I apologize in advance for my appearance...it was about 20 minutes ago and I didn't go put on make up or do my hair. Well, that is all for tonight....Ciao!

4 weeks

Rory is 4 weeks old today. I can't believe that it has been 4 weeks already. She is continuing to do well. We had a small stint this week of her fussing every time we laid her down. We have since worked through it, but it was rough there for a few nights! Kevin went back to work this week. It was great having him home with me for 3 weeks....Rory and I both miss him when he goes to work. He misses us too, I am sure. Rory and I got out yesterday for the first time, just the 2 of us. It went well, we had an early lunch and had a GREAT time. It was wonderful to get out for a couple of hours. I can't believe that Rory will be 1 month old on Monday...she is already so big and looks so different from when she was born. Needless to say, we are pretty smitten.

A week (plus some) in pictures

Ok, no promises that these are in any type of order or that they will line up right, but whatever. In my quest to get good pics for Rory's birth announcements, I got a few that I liked. Here are 2 that did not make the cut, but that I like none the less. I like her little worried brow in this one. What a sweet girl!I think that she looks like a baby doll in this one. One of my favorites! This is Rory at Christmas with my Grandmother. It is the only picture that I have of her from Christmas in her Christmas dress that my Mom made for her. She also came home in this dress. This is Christmas morning. Obviously she was VERY impressed by the whole "Santa" concept. Yeah, she slept through Christmas morning. Kevin got me a Wii Fit. Hopefully I can tone up this pregnancy flab. I got back in MOST of my pre pregnancy clothes relatively quickly. I was beyond excited when I could wear a pair of my pre-pregnancy jeans to Rory's 5 day check up with the pediatrician (granted it was a pair that was loose before I got prego, but pre preggers clothes are pre preggers clothes, lets not get too picky). I never thought that I would be so excited to wear pants with zippers. It is the little things...hehehe! Kevin is getting a gas grill, he just has to pick it out. I just thought that this was a cute picture. We sure think that she is a cutie pie! Kevin likes it when Rory's hair is a'la'natural. This was her the other day after her bath. Gotta love the crazy hair! This next picture makes me want to cry. I just love watching them together. They are big fans of the mutual nap time. Nellie is also a fan! This is Rory and I tonight! Look at her fishie lips. Holy cow, we are smitten! Last but not least...This is a picture representation of New Years.... Here's hoping that 2009 brings you all your biggest hearts desire. We hope that 2009 is as good as 2008. We are surely blessed...

Rory's 1st Christmas

More details coming soon, but Rory's 1st Christmas was great, but the day after, not so much. Half of the family, including 2 of the 4 adults at our house at the time, came down with the stomach flu. Not fun at all with a 14 day old baby...yeah, no stress. More details later, Miss Priss is fussing! Here is a pic to hold you over!!!!!

Quick Post

Rory had her pediatrician appt today. She is doing well. She weighs 5 lbs and 13 oz and is doing just perfect. We are really enjoying her, even from 1am to 4am when she is up screaming because of gas.

Here are some more pictures of Rory. She is changing so much every day, but is such a good baby. This is at the hospital before she had her picture made. PS: she is ADDICTED to the pacifier. Hey, it was either give her the pacifier or she was going to suck her thumb, I'd rather her have a pacifier. These 2 are clearly taken with each other. It takes my breath away to watch the two of them together. I had to include this picture of her little legs and feet.Brock and Davis were SO excited to see and hold her. These 3 are going to get into a lot of messes together. They are such cute boys! Well, that is it for today. We got home yesterday at about 9:30a and all 3 Humphreys spent the rest of the day relaxing and settling in. I will disclose more about her actual delivery later...I have to go...Queen Bee needs to be fed. Thanks guys and I can't wait for you guys to meet her!
