Gatlinburg or Bust!

Well, our trip to Gatlinburg for our 1 year anniversary begins this weekend. It is hard to believe that we have been married for a year already. It has been the best year of my life, no doubt about that. I know it will only get better from here! We leave tomorrow after I get off from work to go to my parents house for the night and drop the "grandpuppies" off since they are keeping them for us while we are gone. Then Saturday morning, Kev and I are going to get up and start heading towards Gatlinburg. We are going to stop in Scottsboro and explore the Unclaimed Baggage store there (Kevin is SOOO excited...he has been perusing their website for the past month) and then we are headed to Gatlinburg. Hopefully we can be there by about 4:30 or 5:00. Sunday we are meeting some friends for breakfast. They are up there with their church group and will be leaving on Sunday. Sunday night we are eating at the "Peddler" on the River. It is SOOOO good, one of the best steaks that I have ever had in my life...SOOO excited about that. The rest of the week, we are just going to hang out around Gatlinburg and have a good time. I will be sure to take LOTS of pictures and will post some when we get back. UPDATE ON NONIE: It is cancer, as I said in my last post, but they think that it might be possible for them to laproscopically (sp.) remove the spot on her lung...which would be stellar! We don't know yet, I think that they are waiting on all of the lab results to come back and for her to go and see the specialist on this procedure...I will update again when I know more!
