Rory Update and a Historic (not in a good way) Day
Rory had her 15 month appointment today and she got a great report:
24 lbs 6 oz
31.25 Inches tall

"Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny." - Thomas Jefferson
"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them." - Thomas Jefferson
In other news, today President Obama signed into law the Healthcare Bill. I am deeply dismayed for the current condition of this once great nation. I fear for the world that we are creating for our children. I am appalled that he took the passed the bill in such a dishonest manner. I looked at a poll yesterday and 72% of people that were asked were vehemently opposed to this bill. Not healthcare reform (which is a good thing and much needed) but THIS 2200 page bill. Do you realize that it is longer than the Bible (non-large print or study bibles)? SERIOUSLY! God can give me all the instruction that I need for my WHOLE LIFE in fewer pages than it takes to write a healthcare bill? Do you see something wrong with that? Officials are elected to carry out the wishes of the majority and that has clearly NOT happened.
I am afraid for our future, I am afraid for our nation; I am scared of the price that our children are going to have to pay for these horrible decisions. I don't want to live in a communist country, at this rate we will be the USSA in no time (United Socialist States of America). After all, didn't he just tell everyone that he is smarter than the public and he knows what best for us? I am shocked that Obama has gotten away with the lies that he has. He has repeatedly been proven to be lying and yet he is still kicking. Not all 'Change' is good!
I think that it is time to Clean House; we will see how easy it will be to shove this rhetoric down our throats when his buddies are all voted out of office. I am overjoyed to see that States (including my own) are preparing to fight this bill and are willing to take it to the Supreme Court. I am proud of the fight that we are showing and I am hopeful that we can make a difference. Our nation is seriously in need of prayer!
"A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government." - Thomas Jefferson
I couldn't have said it better myself, Mr. Jefferson!

Catch Up
Rory turned 15 months old on the 12th. I can't believe that she is already 15 months old! It is hard getting a picture of her, or at least a good one. She would rather move around and be silly.
I have been wanting to get a Embroidery/Monogramming machine for a while. I shopped around, figured out what I wanted and then took part of our tax return and got it. I got a Janome 350E and I LOVE it. Here are some things that I have done. I don't have pics of everything, but here are a few things.

Birthday and Computer Issues
Sorry I have been MIA lately. The LCD portion of the laptop got broken last week and we are having it replaced. As a result, I have no computer at home so I have been out of touch for a while. I have been a busy bee lately...details on that later.
On another note... HAPPY BIRTHDAY CODY! I can't believe you are 9! We love you!

Thank you Lord for warm weather.
We had great weather this last weekend and I took the opportunity to get Miss Priss outside a little bit. She has figured out how to kick the ball, and she had a really good time running around and playing. It made getting pics a tad difficult, but we had fun anyway.
