Calling all former Band Geeks!

Ok, so Sarah Grace and Victoria are selling fruit again this year for band.  You can purchase online HERE you just need to pick your fruit and then choose the student.  Both girls are listed in the drop down, it doesn't matter which one, just pick one.  Orders have to be turned in on October 1, so get your order ready.  When the fruit comes in, I can either bring it to you, or if you are in the Decatur area, you can get it from them directly!

Any help would be much appreciated.  I remember dreading selling my 25 boxes, God bless Kitty, she has to somehow move 50.  PLEASE help them out!

21 Months...

We had a little tea party in Rory's room tonight and I snapped a few photos (I know they are dark..I don't have the energy to edit them tonight).

This is also the official 21 month post.  I can't believe that she is already 21 months old!  She is SO much fun and is constantly amazing me with how smart she is.  She is making whole sentences, and I mean...complete sentences, not baby talk.
I took her outside to try to get a few shots.  Instead I got these:

She kept pointing at the moon in the sky and saying "Goodnight Moon, Goodnight red balloon" and then she would say..."Mama...where is that cow?"  Too funny.

When she wasn't doing this, she was doing her best not to cooperate...but hey...Rory at 21 months...this is it...BUSY!

21 months...where has my tiny baby gone?  She has been replaced by Captain Sassy Pants...good thing that she is cute.

Pictures

First an update from the specialist I saw on Friday regarding my hives.  They drew 10 vials of blood and sent them off for a bunch of tests...all for really bad things (Lupus, tumors, Hep B, Hep C...not good stuff).  Please say your prayers that everything comes back fine.  I am pretty frightened. 

It's been a while since I put any pics on the ole' blog, so here we go.  I haven't taken a whole lot of pictures this past month, but I will show ya what I have taken.

This is the only picture I actually managed to take at the Decatur-Austin game.  You might not be able to tell from this picture, but we were the only "Austins" on the Decatur side.  Austin was visitor this year, so we sat on the Decatur side so that we could see the band.  We enjoyed it!  The whole way to Decatur, Rory and I worked on "GOOO BEARS".  Subsequently, every time the crowd cheered, Rory would Yell "Go Bears."  Haha...She was cute though.

Rory will get the camera and say "Take my Picta" and then she does this.  Cute right?

Kevin found these jammies at Target.  Rory was obsessed. They are her first pair of big girl jammies.  She wore them to bed last night.  She says that "Mimee Mouse on my jammies."  She was hamming it up for the camera, as you can see.

MIA

I know, I have been terrible at blogging lately, but we have had a lot going on.  Here is a brief update

• I still have hives, clear during the day, they pop up every night between 6:30 and 8:30
• I have been tested for all the scary stuff - after the longest week of my life - all tests came back normal.  THANK GOD!
• I am exhausted - Rory is not...enough said.
• I go to another specialist this Friday.  Hopefully, he can be of further assistance with these stinking hives.  10 weeks is TOO LONG!

I will try to get some pics and fun stuff up here this week!  Thanks to all of you who have hung in there!  I will be back soon!

Long Time, No Blog

There has been a lot going on and honestly, I just haven't felt like blogging lately.  I will be back with normal occurances soon, but in the mean time, you will just have to deal with me dropping in and out from time to time.

How about a little "Five on Friday" action?

1. Rory and I are going to Decatur this weekend
2. We are going to the Austin vs Decatur game tonight.  Can I just say that I HATE that this is the 1st game of the season.  We always had Hunstville High for the first game and A-D game was always the last game of the regular season.  I don't know who decided to change it, but it STINKS!
3. Rory is carrying on conversations now, including fussing at us when she doesn't get her way. 
4. I have been doing a lot of sewing and embroidery lately.  If you need anything, or know of someone who does, you just let me know!
5. TGIF!

Long time, no pictures.

It has been a while since I posted pictures so I thought that I would post 2 that I took this past weekend. I had this outfit made and had grand plans for pictures for it, I haven't gotten them done yet, but maybe soon.  In the mean time, here are some shots from the backyard.

5 on Friday

Not a whole lot going on this week so I thought I would throw a "5 on Friday" out there.

1. Our babysitter has been out of town for 2 weeks.  Last week my MiL kept Rory and this week Tim has kept her.  Rory has really enjoyed the Grands, but WOW is she rotten now!
2. I am pretty sure that the surface of the sun is cooler than it is outside.
3. We joined Gymboree today.  I think we will try it for a month.  Rory really liked it last week so I am sure that it will become a regular thing for us.  It is good for her to be around other kiddos. 
4. We are SLAMMED at work.  I am SO glad that today is Friday.
5. I am TIRED!  I can't come up with a #5.  I will try to get some pics up this weekend!
